Welcome to my web page. I graduated from Luther College with a degree in elementary education. This is my seventeenth year of teaching here at Manning Elementary and I throughly enjoy it. Each day brings on new challenges which keeps me motived to meet each of my students individual needs. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my wife Kristin and two children Quentin and Eli.
I stress to my students not only to be active learners in school, but also to be physically active outside of school. There are too many kids today that lead sedentary lives. Growing up in Colorado in a physically active family allowed me to ski, bike, run, hike, and swim. Now that I live in Iowa I still try to do many of the activities today and make frequent trips back to Colorado. The pictures I have included are when I got my new bike to complete some triathlons, my family in Colorado near our family cabin, and my grandma with some of her great-grandchildren Quentin and Eli.
